I love food. Who doesn't? But not only healthy food is great, but fast food is always a very nice part of food. I found while searching Netflix Inside: McDonald's. Is this 20 minute part any good?
Don Thompson(The CEO and president of McDonald's) is interviewed by someone from Bloomberg. Thompson talks about that the minimum wage is higher at McDonald's than the average. Not something I believe, but alright. 1 on 8 Americans have worked at McDonald's. There are 145 choices on the menu.
Deb tells about how they made some of the new McDonald's product. One product from McCafé(Or something like that) was made over 4 years. That's pretty long for such a small thing. They have a test place where people will test all day new shakes, burgers and fries. Looks like every 8-year old dream, but after one day, I don't think you will go to Mickey D very soon again.
The average wait time at McDonald's are 90 seconds. Sounds reasonable, but I had a lot of times that I had to wait over 3 minutes because the burger or fries were out of stock and they needed to get more or begin making new once(Well, frying. They don't make anything there).
It's kinda weird to see a Smoothie at McDonald's, but that's because I'm not from America, so it's weird to see the new items that they have at McD. It is discuss able if it's healthy, if it's quality, if the food is made with love to the animals or with cruel intentions, and if it is great. But fast food is one great thing.
The interview was not critical, which was a shame because I would like to see the interviewer attacking him about health concerns and about obesity, which is of course hugh in America.
Small post? Yes. But it was 20 minutes. Why did I choose this? Because I wanted to see what they would ask and it was a little bit disappointing. Leave this, don't play it guys.
Btw, Big Mac is the way to go.
